Stainless steel powder
Chromium – Nickel austenitic stainless steel with low Carbon content. The most used austenitic stainless steel in additive manufacturing.
It has excellent corrosion resistance, withstands corrosion from most oxidizing acids and very little magnetic response so it is generally considered as non-magnetic.
The powder is manufactured by Inert Gas Atomization (IGA) with highly spherical particles providing good flow rate and high packing density.
